PEN Canada’s Writers in Exile group invite you to join them for an afternoon of prose, and poetry.Voices of Freedom reading series #3 will be held on Sunday, March 26th from 3:00 – 6:00 pm at the Hirut Jazz Club, 2050 Danforth Avenue, Toronto (just west of Woodbine). The event will feature writers from Iran, Burma, Mexico, Afghanistan. These journalists, novelists, poets and human rights activists are survivors of repressive regimes who fled to Canada. While their jobs in Canada have led them to new livelihoods, they continue to write to remain connected to their purpose and passion. Please join us in a celebration of freedom of expression and good company.
